Apple on Monday announced that the Fair Labor Association will be conducting audits of its suppliers, and the investigation will include Foxconn’s factories in Shenzhen and Chengdu, China. The United States Patent and Trademark Office published a patent application from Apple on Thursday that reveals potential next-generation battery designs. LG and Microsoft sign patent agreement over Android and Chrome OS
