    In an absurd new rule, US yesterday banned large electronic devices onto flights bound for the country, citing it as an anti-terrorist precaution. Hours later, UK followed suit. The ban has been imposed on flights from certain countries in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as Turkey. The ban does not affect mobile phones, however, devices larger than a smartphone, that is phablet, tablets and laptops will no longer be allowed in the flight cabins. More →
