There have been many leaks of specs, photographs and hardware of RIM’s new touchscreen device, the BlackBerry Z10 over the past few months so the big launch on January 30 won’t be as big as we basically know most about the device. RIM has released BlackBerry 10 SDK Beta 3 which finally reveals the true nature of the new BB10 UI. Along with this new SDK RIM also released a new device only meant for developers called the Dev Alpha B. Actually, RIM claims this device was born out of necessity as it ran out of the original Dev Alpha. This new device shares more or less the same specs with its predecessor, but its screen has a different resolution of 1280×720 pixels. (more…)Google+

With BlackBerry 10 launching in Q1 of 2013, we’ve had a steady flow of leaks regarding the platform. Today BlackBerry Italia has managed to get its hands on more screenshots of the BlackBerry 10 cascading UI. These screenshots include the unified inbox, the web browser, the settings menu, and the loading screen of the maps app. (more…)Google+

There has been a lot of conjecture regarding when exactly, RIM will launch its next generation platform. BlackBerry watchers, n4bb.com, is reporting that BlackBerry could launch its next generation devices as soon as August. We already have heard that the first BB 10 device will be an all-touch device, but it looks like BlackBerry might end up launching two series – L and N, with the L series having an all-touch design and the N having the traditional BlackBerry keyboard, in the vein of the current Bold...
