Xiaomi launches Rs 9,000 smart air purifier you can control with your smartphone

Not content with launching smartphones, tablets and smartwatches, Xiaomi today launched an air purifier in China. The Rs 9,000 air purifier is likely to be popular in most major Chinese cities that are facing hazardous air pollution levels. The air purifier, which Xiaomi says takes space equivalent to an A4 sheet of paper will also connect to the user's smartphone to control it and notify users when the filters need to be replaced.
