At its E3 press conference that ended minutes ago, Sony announced it has tied up with HTC as the first non-Sony manufacturer to bring the PlayStation Suite to its Android smartphone. Sony has also rebranded PlayStation Suite to PlayStation Mobile, indicating their might be more such tie-ups lined up (or at least hopes of more deals). (more…)Google+

Apart from the many Xbox 360 software features Microsoft showcased a lot software material that would be hitting the console in the next twelve months. Microsoft showed off games like Halo 4, Gears of War Judgement, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Forza Horizon, South Park :The Stick of Truth, Tomb Raider, Madden 13, Fifa 13, Ascend: New Gods and Call of Duty Black Ops 2. Microsoft took the stage to kick off E3 with a bang and showed off a slew of new feature upgrades to Xbox 360 and a lot of games for its gaming console. The software giant started the conference with an extended gameplay demo of the upcoming Halo 4 game, but after that it bombarded the press with a barrage of new feature upgrades for its game console. Nintendo has finally unveiled the Wii U gamepad in a pre-E3 presentation. This next generation console has a touchscreen and will also connect with a television for viewing action on a bigger display. Nintendo has tweaked the design a bit from the prototype it had showed last year and added joysticks as well as an NFC reader/writer along with gyro and motion sensors.
