The Samsung Galaxy S III goes on sale in India from tomorrow and HTC is moving the heavy boulders to ensure its One X doesn't get bulldozed by Samsung's martketing blitzkrieg and existing hype about the device. It has circulated a cheatsheet for its sales staff to counter customer queries when they compare the One X's features with that of the Galaxy S III. Delays? What delays? That's how Samsung is reacting to reports of the Galaxy S III facing manufacturing delays. The world's largest Android smartphone vendor is making its biggest ever global launch for a smartphone as the Galaxy S III goes on sale today in 28 countries across Europe and the Middle East. Samsung claims it will launch the device across 145 countries on 296 carriers by July, making it the fastest global roll-out ever. To put things into perspective, the Galaxy S was launched in 112 countries and 145 carriers while the Galaxy S II was launched in 135 countries and 210 carriers. More →
