The guys at iFixit have given Samsung’s Galaxy S III its customary tear down treatment. The tear down reveals more insight in relation to the internal components of the device. The tear down reveals the supercar like Exynos quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, which has been built on PoP assembly like the Apple A5 chip that is also manufactured by Samsung. (more…)Google+

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S III in India for Rs 43,180. Yes, finally Samsung’s Jesus android phone has arrived in India. After unveiling the Galaxy S III in London on May 3, today Samsung has released its flagship smartphone for Rs 43,180. Samsung is all set to launch the much-awaited Galaxy S III in India today. The Galaxy S III takes on the mantle of Samsung’s flagship smartphone from the Galaxy S II with an incremental hardware bump and numerous software feature additions. Earlier in the day we reported that the Samsung Galaxy S III would go on sale in India on May 31st itself, the day Samsung will officially unveil the device in India, however in only Marble White. And adding cadence to our report, the guys at Androidnz.net our also reporting a similar situation with the Telecom NZ preorders, and other retailers who have told them that the Pebble Blue will only come by mid-june. On Saturday we filed a story saying that Samsung will hold the Galaxy S III event on May 31 after Stuff India claimed to have received an invite for the event. Well, today we can officially confirm the event as Samsung has just sent out an invite to BGR India, to be held on May 31 in New Delhi as a part of the Samsung Galaxy S III world tour. (more…)Google+
