Apple has reportedly cut orders for LCD panels for the iPhone 5 from Japan Display, LG Display and Sharp. Nikkei reports that the orders have been cut down by as much as 80 percent from Japan Display and 40 percent from Sharp when compared to the orders during October-December period. This has led many to think about weakening demand for the iPhone 5, which would have a big impact on Apple’s stock price considering the iPhone accounts for over half of Apple’s revenues. But is there more to it than...

Many will even crib about the limited stock they received, which is not even enough to satiate the pre-bookings they already have from their customers. ET’s Hitesh Raj Bhagat (disclosure: he happens to be a friend of mine) reported about it a couple of days ago ...

We are less than a week away from October 26 and we have been hearing a lot of chatter from our sources in the past couple of weeks. We have been getting a lot o...

Apple has now officially acknowledged the purple flaring in some photographs that happens especially when there is a source of bright light hitting from an angle that isn’t in the frame. We have noticed the same happening at times but it can be fixed by simply changing the camera frame a little. It is not really rocket science and considering it only happens some times and is not the case always, we believe it is a non-issue. Apple is essentially telling iPhone 5 users the same that they can resolve thi...
