Nokia Lumia 920 price slashed in India, available for Rs 31,999 with wireless charging plate

Nokia today slashed the price of the Lumia 920 from approximately Rs 36,000 and is now available for Rs 31,999 with most online retailers. It is available for Rs 32,369 from Nokia’s own online store in India. What’s more, Nokia is also bundling the DT900 wireless charging plate with the phone under this offer. (more…)Google+

Nokia EOS to launch on July 9: Rumor

Nokia integrates augmented reality feature LiveSight in Here maps

Nokia has released an update for its Here maps that adds LiveSight augmented reality feature to the navigation service. Nokia EOS reportedly looks like a mashup of the Lumia 920 and the PureView 808

For some time we have been hearing whispers about the Nokia EOS which is expected to be the first Windows Phone smartphone to come with the magical 41-megapixel PureView camera seen in the Symbian powered PureView 808. Windows Phone finally overtakes BlackBerry to take third spot in terms of smartphone shipments

Research firm IDC has posted its quarterly report on the smartphone market which suggests that Windows Phone devices have finally overtaken BlackBerry smartphones in terms of shipments. This also means that devices running Microsoft’s OS take third spot in terms of smartphone shipments during the first quarter of 2013.  According to the report, Windows Phone devices accounted for 3.2 percent of total shipments while BlackBerry devices fell to 2.9 percent from 3.2 percent in the previous quarter. On the face of it, the Nokia Lumia 925 looks like a thinner variant of the Lumia 920 and it is not until you hold the phone in your hand that you realize how different it actually is. The Lumia 925 is thin, beautiful and takes care of most of the things that many found lacking in the Lumia 920. Nokia introduces Hipstamatic Oggl for Windows Phone 8 which can also upload to Instagram

Windows Phone users have long complained about the absence of the Instagram app on Windows Phone 8, but today Nokia went a long way in mitigating the issue. Nokia announces ‘Amber’ update for Lumia smartphones, will unlock FM radio
