Following the report about Samsung’s upcoming phones based on Tizen operating system, photos of one of these phones codenamed as the Redwood have been posted by the guys at TizenGreekCommunity (Tizen.GR). As seen in the pictures, the Redwood with model number GT-I8800 will not only run the Tizen 2.1 Magnolia but will also feature Samsung’s voice-recognition and voice-command feature S-Voice in it. A couple weeks ago we reported that the Galaxy S4 had sold more 6 million units and was right on track to cross the 10 million barrier in less than a month after its release. Today, Samsung has confirmed this as the Galaxy S4 has sold more than 10 million units in less than a month. (more…)Google+

After weeks of rumors about a rugged version of the Samsung Galaxy S4, just last evening we got to see the first real images of the forthcoming rugged Galaxy S4 Active. Samsung has for long been in the buzz to launch a rugged version of the Galaxy S 4 rumored as the Galaxy S 4 Active. It seems like these are not plain rumors as a set of alleged images of Active have been spotted by a tipster at GSMArena. The photos show a Samsung phone which looks quite similar to the Galaxy S 4 from the front, but sports what looks like a metallic, red and black colored frame with bolts on the back. (more…)Google+

Samsung seems like readying itself to hit Apple even in the PC category too. The company has revealed a new 13.3-inch display panel offering 3200×1800 pixels resolution for ultrabooks at the Display Week 2013. With this resolution, it offers much higher pixel density than Apple’s MacBook Pro 13 (2560×1600 pixels) and MacBook Pro 15 (2880×1800 pixels) Retina Display models. (more…)Google+

Samsung today has officially launched the Galaxy Grand Quattro, which seems like the Indian variant of the Galaxy Win Duos phone it launched internationally. In fact, the phone was first spotted selling online as the Galaxy Win for Rs 17,900 in India, and later was revealed as the Galaxy Grand Quattro on Samsung’s own eStore for Rs 18,260. Samsung, however, seems to have changed the name as well as the pricing strategy and has launched it at even a lower price tagged at Rs 17,290. (more…)Google+

A month back, specifications for the yet-unannounced Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 leaked online for the first time. A couple of weeks ago we reported that Samsung was planning a more sturdy version of the Galaxy S4 which would be waterproof, called the Galaxy S4 Active. Samsung has sold more than 6 million units of its flagship Galaxy S4 in the first two weeks of its international release. Korean website ChosunIlbo is claiming that Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy S 4 has been the fastest selling Galaxy smartphone to date. (more…)Google+
