MapMyIndia has launched the CarPad 5, which is an 5-inch Android powered hybrid which doubles as a GPS navigator, a phone and a 3G tablet. The CarPad 5 sports a 5-inch capacitive display, a 1GHz single-core processor made by Samsung, 4GB of storage memory and also has built-in 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity. MapmyIndia today launched its CarPad, a 7-inch Android tablet that has been customized for use inside a car. The CarPad comes with car seat headrest and windshield docks for use on both the front and back seats. It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S1 processor and comes with GPS, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity.
