A new video has emerged on My Nokia Blog that shows at least three new Windows Phone 7 smartphones from Nokia and none of them is the Sea Ray, which was leaked by Nokia itself a couple of months ago. Bits of the footage seem to be picked up from some already existing Nokia and Microsoft promotional footage, so we cannot confirm if what we are show is the real deal of not. Hopefully, Nokia will save us the trouble and engineer another leak in coming weeks. Hit the break below for the alleged video… (more...

Even as Nokia transitions from Symbian to Windows Phone operating system, the handset vendor is still busy tweaking the soon-to-be-defunct platform. Nokia calls this new version of Symbian ‘Anna’ and will soon launch the E6, which will be one of the first smartphones running this operating system. We spent some time with this ‘Touch and Type’ smartphone today and we feel that this could be one of the better offerings from Nokia in a long while. The phone feels sturdy to hold and the ne...

It seems that change is very much in the air at Nokia, and we are not referring to the arrival of Windows Phone. We have a fair share of advertisements and messages by Nokia over the years and one thing that we have noticed is that the Finnish cellphone behemoth seldom mentions the competition while pushing its own products. Not any more. We had all heard of WhatsApp Messenger, the handy messaging app that works in a manner similar to BlackBerry’s messaging service. Not too long ago, it arrived on Nokia...

To Nokia fans, it is the latest avatar of the legendary Communicator series, which many consider to this day to be the closest a handset has got to a notebook. To its critics, it is the last major smartphone to appear on the Symbian platform, what with Nokia getting all warm and cosy with Windows Phone 7. Whichever way you look at it, it would be insane to deny the importance of the Nokia E7, which represents Nokia’s first QWERTY-touchscreen offering in its famed E Series targeted at enterprises. Nokia recently began sending out invites to an event in London taking place next Tuesday, April 12th. We’re not sure what Nokia is going to announce — possibly the latest Symbian update, we’d imagine — though it’s entirely possible this could involve some hardware as well. What we do know is that Nokia is holding its event on the same day that HTC is holding an event in London, and that definitely didn’t end well for Nokia two years ago. This post originally appeared on BGR.com
