Android 4.3 seen running on Nexus 4 at the Thailand Mobile Expo

Google and Microsoft resolve their differences, to co-develop an official YouTube app for Windows Phone

Last week after an ugly spat, Google had asked Microsoft to take down the YouTube app from its Windows Phone platform. Google brings Translate to Chrome Beta for Android and voice search to Chrome desktop

Google reportedly considering buying Waze, might spark a bidding war with Facebook

Google is considering to acquire Waze, a crowdsourced navigation service, Bloomberg reports. The news comes weeks after Facebook was reported to be eyeing the company, valuing it between $800 million to $1 billion. Waze uses satellite signals from smartphones to generate maps and traffic data, which can then be shared by users. By pooling in data from a number of users, the company then essentially provides real-time traffic information for a particular location. (more…)Google+

Chrome for Android updated, brings full-screen browsing and better search

Google updates Drive app for Android, adds card-style interface and document scanning

Google has released an updated version of the Drive app for Android that has a number of enhancements. Some of these new features include a card style file display like Google Now, an option to scan and keep a track of important documents in Drive, and several other performance tweaks. Google India slashes Google Apps for Business subscription fee by 45 percent

Google India has just dropped the prices of Google Apps for Businesses quite dramatically. The move can be seen as a challenge to Microsoft’s Office 365 suite, which remains the de facto Office suite for many businesses in the country. HTC One with stock Android rumored

Google engineers show developers how Glass can be hacked and rooted

Google Glass can be hacked up to the level that one can even void its warranty. Google confirmed this at Google I/O . Inspite of this, two of Google’s software engineers, Hyunyoung Song and P.Y. Laligand led the “Voiding Your Warranty: Hacking Glass,” session to show how Glass users could root their devices to run Android apps and do more with the software. Google announces Facebook and Twitter apps for Google Glass: Reuters

Google Play Books updated, introduces cloud services and syncing across devices

Google has updated its Play Books and introduced a cloud feature which allows you to save the books on the Google Cloud and then access them from any device.
