Microsoft has been extremely coy about the Windows Phone 7.8 launch for the current Windows Phone 7.5 hardware. Ever since the launch of the Nokia Lumia 510, we’ve known pretty much everything about the OS as it has been powering some of the newer lower-end Windows Phones. It looks like someone from Windows Phone Columbia has jumped the gun on Facebook and announced th...

Filed Under: General, Handsets, Mobile, News, Nokia, Windows Phone 7, Windows Phone 7.5

Snake, the game, which was everyone’s favorite back in the late 90s, has sort of been transported by Nokia to its Windows Phone range. The Nokia Snake game wasn’t really dead as it was available online and believe us hard-core Nokia lovers still drooled over it. Since Nokia wanted to bring the classic-old feel of the game, the version launched for the Lumia looks like a replica of the version which was available back then on the Nokia 5110. Nokia calls it the most “realistic” Nokia Sna...

We are not sure at the moment whether this one is an old prototype or Sony is actually planning to use Windows phone as its alternative O...

When Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer, said last year Android is not free and there is a patent cost involved, not many would have thought he would make HTC and Samsung, two of Android’s biggest vendors, sign the dotted line and agree for royalty payments to Microsoft. Today, Microsoft and Samsung signed an agreement to cross-license patent portfolios of the two companies and Microsoft will receive royalty payments...
