As the data war gets intense, there is cut-throat competition between incumbent operators to match up with Reliance Jio’s offerings. As a result, Airtel and Vodafone have revised their unlimited plans with increased data benefits. Eventually, it is the customers who are benefited with the price war. Here’s a quick look at the unlimited plans and data benefits you can get.

Reliance Jio Rs 198 plan

With the Rs 198 plan, Reliance Jio is offering free local and national outgoing calls, along with unlimited roaming and unlimited SMS (daily cap of SMS). Jio is also offering complimentary access to its suite of apps, which includes JioTV, JioMovies and JioMusic among others.

The plan comes with 28 days validity, and users get 2GB high-speed 4G data every day. Once the 2GB limit is crossed, the speed is throttled to 64Kbps, and it gets refreshed every night at 2:00AM.

Vodafone Rs 199 plan

Vodafone, on the other hand, has revised its Rs 199 plan to offer 1.4GB daily high-speed 3G/4G data, and validity of 28 days. This means, users can get up to a total of 39.2GB data in 28 days.

The plan’s benefits also include unlimited local and national calls along with 100 free SMS per day. However, as per the fair usage policy, there is a cap on the unlimited calls, which is 250 minutes per day, and 1,000 minutes per week. After your free minutes are exhausted, you will be charged 1 paise per second.

Airtel Rs 199 plan

Airtel’s 199 plan has also been refreshed to offer 1.4GB daily high-speed 3G/4G data. The plan also includes unlimited local and national calls, unlimited roaming and unlimited SMS with daily cap of 100 SMS. The validity of this plan is 28 days.

Just like Vodafone, Airtel also has a fair usage policy on unlimited calls, which is 250 daily minutes, and weekly cap of 1,000 minutes. After the daily/weekly limit is reached, you will be charged 10p per minute for Airtel-to-Airtel calls, and calls to other operators are charged at 30p per minute.
