Xbox E3

Microsoft just launched a whole lot of new stuff at the Xbox press conference at E3 2018 at Los Angeles. The new games that Microsoft unveiled include new Halo and Gears of War games, Fallout 76, The Division 2, Dying Light 2, a brand new Cyberpunk 2077 trailer, and a new samurai action game called Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice from the makers of Dark Souls.

Quite a few of the games shown were from other developers that will be available on platforms other than the Xbox and this was a welcome sight. So let’s take a look at what Microsoft showcased this year.

Halo Infinite

This will perk up some Halo fans as a new game is about to come and we even get a look at Master Chief who is holding on to his helmet, getting ready for some action as some marines ride a warthog towards him. There is no other information given on this game right now by Microsoft.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

We were treated to some visuals from the sequel of Ori and the Blind Forest and the new game looks just as beautiful as the last one. Not much seems to have changed with the visuals and the gameplay, and the game will be hitting the shelves in 2019.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

This hack and slash game from the makers of Dark Souls came as a surprise to everyone and boy does it look good. From Software is sticking to its guns and doing what it does best. This game takes heavily after Bloodborne with the hack and slash and the use of grappling hook. This game in coming in 2019 and will be available on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4.

Fallout 76

Our first look of Fallout 76 from Bethesda came at the Xbox event where the developers basically explained that this is four times the size of Fallout 4, and will be set in the hills of West Virginia. The company didn’t reveal much else here and kept most of the details to be revealed at its own press conference held later.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit

This charming little game is set in the universe of Life is Strange and follows a young boy whose imaginative story comes to life. This is going to be a free to play game available from June 26.

Crackdown 3

We got yet another look at Terry Crews’ Crackdown 3 where he basically talks about himself, a lot. This game uses a lot of neon and gives the ingame Terry insane powers. The release seems to have been delayed again, and now it stands at February 2019.

Metro: Exodus

This is a very regular Metro trailer with some classic stuff from the games. According to the devs this time the world is even more expansive than before. This too will be coming out in February 2019.

Kingdom Hearts 3

Square Enix has made an announcement that will make Kingdom Hearts as well as Disney fans quite happy. Kingdom Hearts 3 will be merging its world with Frozen and Tangled to feature Elsa, Anna as well as Rapunzel. The game is set to hit the shelves on January 29, 2019.

Forza Horizon 4

Forza Horizon 4 is taking the action to Britain and the devs described the game as a seamless, shared-world online game. Xbox One X will feature a 60 fps mode and the game will be out on October 2 and will be included in Xbox Game Pass at the same time.

The Division 2

The Division 2 gameplay trailer showed us a varied terrain in the game in a rather short span of time. In the six minute trailer we witnessed the game move from what looked to be a dense forest to metropolitan streets of DC. Here again it looks to be a multiplayer oriented gameplay. This game is coming out on March 15, 2019.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Though there was no new information, just another trailer that shows that Crystal Dynamics hasn’t changed too much from the last two games. This will hit the market on September 14 this year.

Session

No details, just the trailer drop of a skating game.

Devil May Cry 5

Devil May Cry 4 was a while back and we are definitely ready for a new DMC game. And the new one looks awesome. DmC 5 will be coming out in the Spring of 2019.

Jump Force

Ever wanted to find out who is stronger among Naruto, Luffy and Gohan? Bandai Namco is making dreams come true for all anime fans with its new game.

Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 is in the same veins as its predecessors and will be set in Paris after another zombie outbreak. The world is much bigger and there are some new mechanics being added to the game in addition to what was there the last time.

Just Cause 4

Miss blowing up stuff in Just Cause? Well there’s a new edition coming out and this time it will have tornados. This one is coming out on December 4 this year.

Gears of War 5

Buckle up Gears of War fans, there is new game headed your way, and this time it’s called just Gears 5. The trailer showed Kait Diaz in lead and has all the classic elements of a Gears of War game.

Cyberpunk 2077

We got another look at the amazing upcoming game that is called Cyberpunk 2077, and boy does it look good. There were a lot of different elements in the trailer and we will be talking about those as they are confirmed.

There were other announcements by the company as well, where it said that there is a new streaming game service and a new Xbox in the works.
