The rumors surrounding one of the most popular Battle Royale games, Fortnite and Samsung were true after all. Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney took to the stage at Barclays Center during the launch of Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone in the market, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to confirm the launch of Fortnite for Android. Sweeney shared some details about the game on Android by adding that the game is now available for Samsung devices. The game will come on other Android-powered devices starting next week. One thing to note here is that the version of Fortnite that Epic Games is launch today is not the final version.

Instead, the company is launching the beta version of the game for Android users with Samsung Galaxy devices. According to Samsung, Galaxy users will be the first to access the Fortnite Beta for “next few days”. This means that the rumor about the game being exclusive to Samsung Galaxy devices for about 30 days was incorrect. The company also provided a list of devices that will be compatible with Fortnite Beta. This list of devices includes Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, S9+, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8, S8+, Galaxy S7, and Galaxy S7 Edge.

The game will also be available for Galaxy tablets including Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, and Galaxy Tab S3.

How to install Fortnite for Android on your Samsung Galaxy device

Samsung Galaxy device users can head to the Samsung Game Launcher app to find and install Fortnite Beta. A report by xda claims that Samsung Galaxy users can head to the Epic Games website or visit the Galaxy Apps store to install Fortnite on their devices.

Exclusive benefits for Samsung Galaxy devices

All Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Tab S4 users will get an exclusive Fortnite Galaxy skin that can help them stand apart in the game.

In addition to that, users who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 between August 10, and August 23, 2018, will get the option to either choose 15,000 V-bucks (the in-game currency in Fortnite) with Fortnite Galaxy skin or a pair of AKG noise-canceling headphones. Users who want both of these things can get both for $99.
