Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney took to the stage at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event to announce that Fortnite Beta for Android is finally going to hit Android devices. Android users have been waiting for this for a long time and Samsung Galaxy smartphone users are the first to get their hands on the popular ‘Battle Royale’ game.

Fortnite has seen its popularity take off like no other game, and Epic Games is reaping in the benefits by launching the game alongside one of the biggest smartphones this year, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Sweeney announced that Samsung Galaxy smartphone users will be the first to get their hands on the Android port of Fortnite and that will be followed by others.

Here are all the Galaxy devices that Fortnite is available on right now:

Samsung Galaxy: S7 / S7 Edge , S8 / S8+, S9 / S9+, Note 8, Note 9, Tab S3, Tab S4

Epic Games has also made an exclusive skin called Galaxy, that will be available to people who buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 or Galaxy Tab S4 devices between August 10, and August 23, 2018. Users will get the option to either choose 15,000 V-bucks (Fortnite’s in-game currency), the Galaxy Skin or a pair of AKG noise-canceling headphones.

According to the blog on the Epic Games website, Android devices from other manufacturers will be getting access to the beta of the game in the coming days in a phased manner. Players with such devices can sign up for the beta on the Epic Games website and the developer will send instructions on how to install the game in due time over email.
