IO Interactive has just made the day for all fans of the Hitman series worldwide by announcing that there is a new game on the way. Hitman 2, is the successor to the 2016 Hitman reboot from IO Interactive and WB Games, which will hit PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X, and PC on November 13.
Hitman 2 will follow the famed Agent 47, and his journey where he will “hunt the elusive Shadow Client and unravel his militia once and for all.” And this means that we are getting some way more intricate ways of going through the objectives of the game. The trailer shows a street race in preparation, and a target who will be racing, while the narrator talks about the different ways there are to assassinate a target. The trailer is a kaleidoscope of colors and the sunlit streets of Miami. Though there is news that the game will feature more than just a concrete jungle as the developer explains “sun-drenched streets and dark and dangerous rainforests.”
There will also be a sniper mode in Hitman 2 that is going to being online co-op element to the game for the first time. Players will be teaming up to take down targets in long ranged sniper-based missions. Customers pre ordering the game will get access to the Sniper mode before others. Here’s the trailer of Hitman 2:
The Standard Edition of Hitman 2 is to be priced at $59.99, and the Silver Edition at $79.99 that includes the first DLC as well as a new location, a sniper map, and new outfits and weapons. There is also be a Gold Edition priced at $99.99, and that will include both the planned DLC packs. This means that Hitman 2 will be going for a DLC type structure instead of the episodic one we have seen previously.
