One of the bigger updates for Digital Extremes’ most popular title, Warframe, is now out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Beasts of the Sanctuary has been out for a while on PC, and now the time has come for the console gamers to experience it as well.

The update was introduced on the PC version in April, and will add a new Warframe to the game along with a new team based survival mode called Sanctuary Onslaught, and of course new weapons. Besides these players can also participate in an event called Plague Star that is slated to run between now and May 21.

The newest Warframe to join the game is Khora, which also happens to be the 35th Warframe to be introduced in the game, and also the first this year. According to the developers Khora is a “stylistically armor-clad” Warframe that “offers a versatile combination of offensive and defensive capabilities”. The Warframe is equipped with a metallic whip, and comes with a number of offensive and defensive abilities. Among those abilities is one that summons a metal cavat companion that can attack, defend and heal.

The new mode called, Sanctuary Onslaught, is similar to survival where players can play with a squad of upto four people or solo. And the unique component here is that the players have to keep travelling through timed portals while taking on hoards of enemies.

This update also brings with it new weapons called Veldt and Khora’s signature gun and swords, the Hystrix and Dual Keres. There are few new weapons and character skins included in this update as well.
