Prolific leakers of press images of unannounced smartphones, @evleaks, now claim that the international variant of HTC’s Droid DNA is in the offing. Codenamed HTC Deluxe, the Android smartphone retains most of the red trimmings of the Droid DNA but the branding is that of HTC rather than Verizon. The Deluxe is expected to have the same 5-inch 1080p display.

We are not sure whether other features would be maintained in the international version but we would be surprised if it does not carry forward the 8-megapixel camera, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. HTC should also retain the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The only specification that would probably change is LTE support, which does not work in every country. We should expect HTC to announce the Deluxe any day now and it could be its Holiday season shopping surprise.
