Motorola is for long being reported for working on its Moto X smartphone, however there was hardly any information on the specs known so far. Now, @evleaks has leaked a major set of specifications of the phone which show that the phone will indeed be a powerful device.

Though there is no information on the display size, the leaked specs suggests that the display will offer 720p resolution. On hardware front, it is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 Pro dual-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, and will come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The phone will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, which is the latest version of the operating system. The interesting part is the 10-megapixel rear camera, which is a quite rare resolution seen in phones these days. There will also be a 2-megapixel camera on front. All these features clearly indicate a mid-range phone in the making.
A few days back, Denis Woodside had confirmed the phone and also revealed that Moto X will be a “contextually aware” smartphone and will come with various smart sensors inspired by Moto’s smartwatch from a couple of years ago. These sensors will help the phone act smart and will enhance the user’s experience. Woodside also indicated that it will have two processors for better power management, however this could possibly be referred to the cores in the processor. The phone will be manufactured by Flextronics, and is expected to get launched by October.
