Motorola’s entry-level Android smartphone, the Moto G, is scheduled for a November 13 launch. The Google-owned company is now teasing the live webcast page where users can sign up to stay updated. However, what’s interesting is that Motorola’s teaser tweet says hello in a number of languages, including Hindi, which could be a hint that Motorola is planning to make an entry into India again.

We have been hearing unconfirmed rumors that Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside is scheduled to be in India towards the end of November, which did not make sense considering Motorola had wrapped up its India operations post Google’s acquisition. However, Motorola could replicate Google’s model of selling its Nexus devices online and also hiring a local distributor. That said, it would be interesting to see how Motorola provides after-sales service in this situation if it does not have its own boots on the ground in India.
The Moto G is expected to feature a 4.5-inch 720p display with Gorilla Glass, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 5-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front facing cameras, Bluetooth 4.0 and a sub-Rs 15,000 price point.
