Motorola has quietly released its Fire Android smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 9,490, the Fire features a 2.8-inch QVGA display, a QWERTY keypad and a 3 MP camera. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread on a Qualcomm S1 Snapdragon processor clocked at 600MHz with 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM. We cannot be complaining about specs at this price, however, we certainly would have been a happier lot had the display been at least HVGA (320×480 pixels) resolution. Nevertheless, hit the jump for a promo video.
