At the ongoing event at MWC, Nokia’s Stephen Elop announced the Nokia 220, which is the company’s most affordable Internet ready device. The device is available immediately in countries including India with prices starting from 29 Euros.
Design-wise it is a bit old school with a candy-bar form factor and a dust-proof and splash-proof keypad. It sports a 2.4-inch display and comes pre-installed with apps like Facebook, Twitter, Nokia’s Xpress web browser and has Bing as its default search engine. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots and 2G support.
