Nokia 100, 101 launched in India

Nokia has launched the 100 and the 101 (dual-SIM) phones in India. The vendor had announced this duo a few days ago and as expected the phones are priced below Rs 1,700. While the Nokia 100 is priced at Rs 1,399, the dual-SIM phone Nokia 101 will be retailed for Rs 1,699. The handsets will come with an attractive offer from Airtel which will provide customers with 100 minutes of free Airtel-to-Airtel calling for the first month and 400 national and local SMSs. The Nokia 100 has a 1.8″ TFT display, weighs about 70 grams, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio and offers a talktime of 7.2 hours. It comes in 5 different colors – Legion Blue, Ocean Blue, Festival Pink, Phantom Black and Coral Red.

The Nokia 101 dual-SIM handset also sports an 1.8″ TFT display and weighs 71 grams. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, a microSD card slot which can accommodate cards up to 16GB, offers 6.7 hours of talk-time, music playback time of 26 hours and comes in two colors – Coral Red and Phantom Black.
