Nokia 106 launched in India for Rs 1,399

Nokia has finally launched the 106 feature phone for Rs 1,399 in India, a few months after the company had announced it along with the 107. This is a basic feature phone and is now available on the company’s online store.

Though the market is flooded with dual-SIM enabled phones, the Nokia 106 comes with a mini, single SIM slot. Features-wise, it has a 1.8-inch TFT QVGA (128×160 pixels) display. It runs on Nokia’s S30 platform and comes with FM radio, but does not have a camera.

Nokia has introduced the phones with dust and spill resistant keyboards to avoid accidental damages. The Nokia 106 comes with a 800mAh battery, and promises to offer 9.9 hours of talk time and a stand-by time of 35 days.

The phone is available in black, red and white colors.
