Nokia Music store goes DRM-free, you can get it now
Nokia’s Music Store will now offer DRM-free music, which essentially means users will now be able to play songs downloaded from the store on multiple devices without any limitations. The DRM-free music will be available on Nokia’s Asha 200, Asha 300 and X2-02, which were launched yesterday. These phones will come with three months of unlimited music download. Nokia Music Store has over four million tracks from labels like Sony Music Entertainment, EMI Music, IMI and Hungama.
HOW TO GET IT NOW
Since the entire store has gone DRM-free, users who already have phones that support Nokia’s Music Unlimited service can download DRM-free tracks right now. So if you already have a valid subscription of the service, it will be a good idea to download your playlist all over again and play it on multiple devices or share it with others.
Disclosure: Nokia paid for our travel and accommodation to attend its Annual Strategy Sharing Session.
