Nokia officially launches the PureView 808 in India for Rs 33,899
Nokia has officially the PureView 808 in India for Rs 33,899. The Nokia Belle powered device was originally showcased at the Mobile World Congress in February. Perhaps, the most unique feature of the device is its 41-megapixel PureView camera, which uses oversampling/ pixel binning to stitch together 5-megpixel images using the 41-megapixel imaging details. Through this technique, Nokia claims it can also enable a lossless digital zoom.
Other features if the device include a 1.3GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, Dolby Surround sound, 16GB of internal memory, a MicroSD card slot and a 4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 640×360 pixels. While Nokia has just officially announced the price of the product, the Nokia Store had listed the device at Rs 34,999 with a best buy price of Rs 33,899. The device will be available in market from today.
