RIM likely to launch BlackBerry Curve 9360 in India today

Research In Motion is hosting a press conference in Delhi later today where it is expected to launch the BlackBerry Curve 9360. The smartphone runs on the latest BlackBerry 7 OS and sports a sleeker 11mm form-factor (as compared to 13mm on the Curve 9300). Other specifications include a snappier 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 5.0 MP camera with geo-tagging, flash and VGA video recording, up to 5 hours of talk-time and Wi-Fi connectivity. The display has also been ramped up from QVGA (320×240 pixels) to HVGA+ (480×360 pixels). The Curve 9360 is expected to be priced under Rs 20,000.
