Hello Tech Bloggers – I just wanted to highlight that Samsung India is not covering the SGS3 “Sudden Death” issue under warranty.

The Sudden Death issue as you know is causing a busted motherboard due to a firmware issue, as many across the world faced and widely reported on XDA and other forums. However in other parts of the world it being repaired / replaced under warranty, but not in India.

It is very disappointing that loyal Samsung users of premium high end Rs 40,000 devices are treated like this.

More surprisingly no one seems to be writing about this issue & lack of support from Samsung India to warn other consumers.

Good comprehensive review! These two phones are really extremely close, it all depends on what parameters matter to you the most. For me, build quality matters a lot, especially at this price point, and so I went for a black HTC One X about a month ago and am delighted with it.

Very good features come up with samsung galaxy S III but the price range is too high. But overall the phone best among all the smartphone.

I’m glad you liked the review. I think the S III is a good upgrade from the S II. However, would suggest you wait to let the price settle down a bit. There’s more scope of price reduction a few weeks down the line.

HTC’s Android smartphones have the feature to create folders by dragging and dropping an icon on top of another to create folders. If I recall correctly, even Sony smartphones have that feature now. :)

Nice review.. however, I don’t remember any android phone that allowed creation of folders by dropping one icon over other natively.. (guess its only possible in IOS).. so that argument was irrelevant.

please do a comparison between the UI’s of these phones (sense and touchwiz) and that will be the differentiating factor!!!
and i think htc one x will win it.
But htc one XL (at&t’ s one X) will be a clear winner in terms of performance,build quality and software(UI)
