Samsung announces the Galaxy Ace Plus

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Ace Plus Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone. The device boasts of 3.65-inch HVGA display and is powered by IGHz processor.  Apart from this the device also boasts of a 5.0 MP snapper, which can shoot WVGA quality video at 30 frames per second. Besides these features the device features Samsung’s TouchWiz Android UI and Samsung’s proprietary ChatOn messenger service is integrated into the device from the onset. Previously Samsung had launched the Galaxy Ace which did manage to sell well through out the world but it was riddled with build quality issues, hopefully with the Galaxy Ace Samsung has eradicated those issues.

As of now the Galaxy Ace Plus will be released in Russia, but the company intends to roll out the device in Europe, Latin America, South East Asia, South West Asia and the Middle East. Samsung has not revealed any pricing information but we expect it to be in the sub-Rs 15k price band where it will compete with the likes of the HTC Wildfire S.
