Samsung Galaxy Grand launched in India for Rs 21,500
Samsung today launched the Galaxy Grand phablet wit a 5-inch display for Rs 21,500. The Galaxy Grand is the first Samsung smartphone with a 5-inch display, a category that is set to become very popular in India this year. The Galaxy Grand runs on Android Jelly Bean and features dual-SIM connectivity. Read on for complete specs.
The Galaxy Grand features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot that can accomodate cards up to 64GB. It also features an 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front camera. The only shortcoming in our opinion is the WVGA display resolution, which when spread over 5-inches gives a very low pixel density. Also the Galaxy Grand does not have dual-active dual-SIMs and Samsung is using a call forwarding service.
As an introductionary offer., Samsung is bundling a flip cover and giving Rs 8,000 worth of access from its My Service store from where users can download music and videos.
