After weeks of rumors about a rugged version of the Samsung Galaxy S4, just last evening we got to see the first real images of the forthcoming rugged Galaxy S4 Active. Now the folks at MobileTechReview have put up a video of the device, which looks like the exact same piece that was snapped yesterday.
Though the device might be the same, there are certain discrepancies in terms of specifications. While the device leaked yesterday was claimed to feature a Snapdragon 600 chipset and a 13-megapixel rear camera like the one on the Galaxy S4, the device on the video is said to sport a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus CPU and an 8-megapixel main camera.
From what we know of the Galaxy S4 Active so far, the device is expected to feature a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, run on Android Jelly Bean, sport three hardware buttons below the screen and will be dust and waterproof.
