Rumors about the Samsung’s Galaxy S4 mini have been doing rounds of the Internet for quite a while now. The device was initially expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S4 in New York, but that was not to be. That has not stopped the rumors from trickling in, and the folks at Technodify have stumbled upon a new set of images for the Galaxy S4 mini.
The latest set of images stays consistent with previous leaks that show a device which looks like a scaled down version of its big brother. It gets the same design and a similar polycarbonate body at the back.
From what we know of the device so far, the Galaxy S4 mini is expected to be available in single and dual-SIM variants, with it being powered by a dual-core 1.6GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. The device is said to sport a 4.3-inch qHD display and feature an 8-megapixel camera and Android version 4.2.2. The smartphone is also expected to be launched in Black Mist and White Frost colors.
It’s worth noting Samsung pulled a similar stunt with the Galaxy S III mini that featured a smaller but similar design to the Galaxy S III but cut back on the specifications quite greatly.
Talking of an expected launch date; the report claims that the S4 mini will be launched sometime around the end of this month. There’s currently no word if or when the device will come to our shores.
