Samsung Galaxy Star 2, Galaxy Star Advance and Galaxy Ace NXT affordable Android KitKat smartphones launched in India, prices start at Rs 5,100

Samsung has launched three new affordable smartphones called the Galaxy Star 2, Galaxy Star Advance and the Galaxy Ace NXT. The three smartphones run on Android 4.4 KitKat and are priced from Rs 5,100 onwards.

samsung-galaxy-star-2Starting with the Galaxy Star 2, it sports a 3.5-inch HVGA (320×480 pixels) display and is powered by a 1GHz (SC6815A) single-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. It also features a 2-megapixel rear camera, 4GB internal storage, microSD card slot, FM Radio, 1,300mAh battery and connectivity options like 2G support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. The Galaxy Star 2 is priced at Rs 5,100.

samsung-galaxy-star-advanceThe Galaxy Star Advance features a 4.3-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. It also features a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 4GB internal storage, microSD card slot, FM Radio, 1,800mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slot, 3G support, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. The Galaxy Star Advance is priced at Rs 7,400.

samsung-galaxy-ace-nxtLastly, the Galaxy Ace NXT features a 4-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. It also features a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 4GB internal storage, microSD card slot, FM Radio, 1,500mAh battery and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The Galaxy Ace NXT went on sale in India earlier this month, and is priced at Rs 7,400.

As an introductory offer, Samsung is offering 200MB of free data per month to Vodafone users for a period of six months.
