With the widespread smartphone range, Samsung has proven that it has something for everyone. It seems that the company wants to play the same card when it comes to tablets too. So, while there the Tab 3 Neo lineup sitting at the lower end of the range, and Note Pro catering to the high end market, a new tablet has emerged to fill the gap, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1. Displayed on Samsung India’s e-store at Rs 36,340, the 10.1-inch tablet is yet to launch, and is currently listed as “Not in Stock” on the website.
Talking about specifications, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 gets a 10.1 inch WXGA (1280×800 pixels) display, a dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor and 1GB of RAM. The tablet is said to run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and gets an expandable memory of up 64GB (using microSD card) and an internal storage capacity of 16GB.
Connectivity options include both Wi-Fi and 3G, and on the photography front, it gets a 3-megapixel primary and 1.3-megapixel front cameras. The battery on the device is claimed to have an 8-hour backup.
