Samsung has announced two pocket-friendly Android smartphones aimed at the youth called the Galaxy Young and the Galaxy Fame. Both the phones have mid-range specs and though there is no word on prices, it shouldn’t put a dent in the pocket.
The Galaxy Young runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has a 3.27-inch LCD screen with 480 x 320 resolution LCD, powered by a 1GHz processor and 768MB RAM. Other features included are a 4GB internal memory with microSD card slot, 3-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, digital compass and a 1,300mAH battery. It will available in white, deep blue, wine red and metallic silver colors.
The Galaxy Fame, on the other hand, has similar specs but a slightly bigger 3.5-inch display of the same resolution, 5 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus, VGA front facing camera, 512MB of RAM and optional NFC connectivity. It will be available in pearl white and metallic blue.
