Samsung has announced that it has managed to sell five million Galaxy Note 2 units in just two months. Interestingly, this new number just comes after twenty odd days because at the start of November, Samsung claimed to have sold three million units of the Galaxy Note 2.
Now, Samsung does manage to sell the Galaxy Note 2 in 128 countries so it is a widely available device, but regardless the number is very impressive. In contrast its predecessor, the Galaxy Note took five months to hit the five million mark.
This becomes Samsung’s second consecutive mobile blockbuster as earlier in the year the company had released the Galaxy S III which has gone on to sell more than 30 million units since launch and is still going great guns in spite of a rollicking start by the Apple iPhone 5.
