We earlier informed you about Samsung working on bringing some twists to the design modules of its upcoming devices, and a report on tbreak is hinting that Samsung Galaxy S 4 might also be a part of this transition. According to the report, Young Soo Kim, president of Samsung Gulf Electronics, while launching the Galaxy S 4 in Dubai also mentioned about a rugged version of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 to be set for launch in a few months ahead.
Reportedly unlike the present version, which has apparently survived some scratch tests to check its screen, this new version of the Galaxy S 4 will be water-proof as well as dust-proof, which we have recently seen in the Sony’s flagship Xperia Z as well. There is nothing being said about the design part though, but we might see some more actions in the device.
The Galaxy S 4 sports a 5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, and sport a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera. On the software front, the Galaxy S 4 runs on Android Jelly Bean and flaunts a new version of TouchWiz featuring a number of software add-ons. Out of the various variants, Samsung is expected to launch the one with the company’s own Exynos 5 octa-core processor here in India.
The Galaxy S 4 will be launched on April 26 in India, and is expected to be priced within the Rs 40,000-45,000 bracket.
