Local brands have responded to the Motorola Moto E’s impact on the entry-level segment, and now it seems Samsung too is eyeing that segment. An entry-level Samsung device running on Android KitKat has been spotted on Indian shipping manifest by GadgetsToUse.
The device is codenamed SM-G350E and according to the blog it features a 4.3-inch display, dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB internal storage. Also expected to be included is a 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, and on the software front, it will run on Android 4.4 KitKat.
The shipping manifest also reveals that the device is priced at Rs 6,070, but the final price is likely to be a bit different. There is currently no word on when the device will be launched in India.
