A couple of weeks ago, Sony Ericsson had announced its entire 2011 XPERIA range will get updated to Android 2.3.4 that will bring a host of new features, including panoramic 3D sweep that enables users to capture 3D photos on a phone that does not have stereoscopic cameras. It looks like a pretty simple function – simply pan the device across the intended capture area and the camera takes multiple shots and stitches them together to form a 3D picture.
