Here are the top-10 list most powerful smartphones as per AnTuTu; Xiaomi Black Shark, OnePlus 6 lead

OnePlus 6 and Xiaomi Mi 8 come in at number two and three respectively.

AnTuTu, a popular benchmarking tool often used for gauging the performance of smartphones has revealed its list of the top 10 most powerful smartphones for the month of July. The top spot on the list has gone to Xiaomi’s Black Shark gaming smartphone, which was launched in April 2018.

According to the benchmark numbers revealed by AnTuTu, Xiaomi Black Shark received an average score of 288,187. At the second position is OnePlus 6, with Xiaomi’s Mi 8 flagship securing the third place.

Here is a look at the top 10 most powerful Android smartphones, according to AnTuTu’s July numbers.

 

Xiaomi Black Shark

Xiaomi’s gaming-focused Black Shark smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. The smartphone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery.

OnePlus 6

OnePlus’ 2018 flagship killer – OnePlus 6 – has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset under the hood. It’s helped by 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of onboard storage, with a 3,300mAh battery backing up the whole package.

Xiaomi Mi 8

Xiaomi’s notch-toting Mi 8 flagship smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 845 SoC, complete with 6GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of built-in storage. A 3,400mAh battery keeps the Mi 8 going.

Asus Zenfone 5Z

Like most of its competitors, Asus’ top-of-the-line 2018 smartphone – Zenfone 5Z – is packed with power. Delivering horsepower to the Zenfone 5Z is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, helped by 4/6/8GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of internal storage. The smartphone’s backed by a 3,300mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy S9+ (Snapdragon 845)

The elder of Samsung’s flagship duo of 2018, the Galaxy S9+ draws its power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 silicon (some units have an Exynos 9810 SoC, based on region). There’s also 6GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of internal storage, with a 3,500mAh cell taking care of keeping things running.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact

It may be small, but Sony’s XZ2 Compact is big on performance, thanks to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. There’s 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, as well as a 2,870mAh battery.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S

The latest iteration of Xiaomi’s bezel-less stunner, the Mi Mix 2S, packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset, along with 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of internal storage. Underneath that ceramic back is a 3,400mAh battery.

Sony Xperia XZ2

Launched just two weeks back in India, Sony’s Xperia XZ2 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC under the hood. There’s also 4/6GB of RAM, along with 64GB of built-in storage. A 3,180mAh battery backs up the whole deal.

Coming in at number 10 is the Exynos 9810 version of Samsung’s Galaxy S9+ flagship smartphone. Its octa-core chipset is complemented by 6GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of on-board storage. Just like the Snapdragon 845 version, the Exynos-toting variant of the Galaxy S9+ is backed by a 3,500mAh battery.
