10.or E smartphone with 4,000mAh battery launched in India, prices start at Rs 7,999: Specifications, features

The smartphone will soon be upgraded to Android Oreo.

10.or, pronounced as Tenor, has announced its debut in India with its smartphone 10.or E. While the smartphone is yet to go on sale, the company has already unveiled the device in India. The 10.or E smartphone will be the first smartphone by the company in India, and will come in two variants, and two color options – black and gold. The smartphone will be available for purchase exclusively via Amazon India. The date of sale is undefined.

The 10.or E will fall under the budget category. The smartphone will feature 5.5-inch full HD display. Under the hood, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor. As mentioned, the smartphone will come in two variants, which will differ based on the on-board RAM and storage. With the same processor in the guts, one variant will feature 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage, and will be priced at Rs 7,999, and the other will be equipped with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, which will be priced slightly higher at Rs 8,999. Both the variants will be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

For photography, the smartphone will sport a 13-megapixel camera at the rear, with CMOS sensor and PDAF for quicker focus. And up front, it will feature a 5-megapixel camera. Both the cameras will be accompanied by a flash. The 10.or E will run Android Nougat out-of-the-box, and the company promises an Android Oreo upgrade soon. The smartphone will also come with Google Assistant support. Fueling the device will be a 4,000mAh battery. The 10.or E will come with dual-SIM (4G) support, VoLTE, and a fingerprint sensor at the back.
