Smartphone components have progressively turned cheaper bringing down the overall cost of making smartphones with decent specifications. Along with the decrease in pricing, the progressing technology has enabled manufacturers to reduce the size of the said components to take lesser space inside the device. Smartphone processors and RAM are two of the most essential parts that have evolved over the years to keep pace with the increasing computing demand of latest technologies and improving the software.

Evolution of technology and decreased pricing has enabled a number of smartphone makers to pack more RAM inside smartphones with each progressing year. A few years back, it was almost impossible to imagine smartphones with 3-4GB RAM. Such amount of RAM was only limited to laptops with 8GB RAM reserved for high-end gaming PCs or laptops. But now, flagship devices like the OnePlus 6, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S, and Razer Phone come with 8GB RAM with rumors of companies working on smartphones with 10GB RAM.

The increased RAM has enabled smartphones to provide a much smoother experience with no lag or stutter. It was also ensured that there is sufficient memory in the device for hassle-free multitasking where users can switch between multiple apps without any delay. The increase in competition between Chinese smartphone makers has pushed the price point of smartphone devices to affordable point where interested buyers don’t need to shell out Rs 35,000 to Rs 45,000 for a smartphone with good specifications. If you are looking for a smartphone with 4GB RAM and don’t want to shell out more than required, we have compiled a list of smartphones under Rs 25,000 to help your decision.
