Airtel has launched the broadband plans on a very-high-speed digital subscriber line (VDSL) in Hyderabad that has an speed of 40MBPs. According to Airtel, the VDSL technology defines a new and advanced standard of broadband wireline communications.
The VDSL 40MBPs line is tailor made for consumers who have heavy data usage and offers extremely high speed for accessing data through wireline connectivity. Airtel has introduced two monthly plans for now. Users can either choose the Ultrasonic 3999 plan priced at Rs 3,999 and offering 200GB of free data along with 2000 minutes of calling, or go with the Ultrasonic 3299 with 100GB data usage along with 1000 free voice minutes. Both the plans will offer a speed of up to 40Mbps and will give 512Kbps speed after reaching the monthly limit.
Besides this, users can also subscribe to some additional free Value Added Services (VAS) including Parallel Ringing, PC Secure (Anti-Virus software), Unlimited Gaming through Games on Demand, LearnNext and other services.
Additionally, the users will need to purchase Beetel’s VDSL Wi-Fi modem priced at Rs 3,099 to use these plans.
