While Korean media has already started reporting about Samsung’s upcoming 2019 Galaxy A series of smartphones, GSMArena has spotted a Geekbench listing of what appears to be another Galaxy A smartphone from Samsung.

The mysterious Samsung listing popped up on Geekbench from July 27, 2018 with model name SM-A750FN carries some key specifications of the phone. As per the listing, SM-A750FN will come with Exynos 7885 SoC that has two performance cores at 2.2 GHz and six efficiency core at 1.6 GHz. The RAM is listed as 4 GB (3664MB), and the operating system will be Android 8.0 Oreo.

When we compare the model number to previous generation Galaxy A series of smartphones, it appears that this device will be the latest addition to the series. Earlier, the Samsung Galaxy A8+ used the code name SM-A730xx, whereas the Galaxy A7 (2017) was referred to as SM-A720xx.

As for the specifications, the specs for the SM-A750FN that are listed are the same as the current Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018). Samsung is expected to alter certain aspects such as screen size and camera specifications. This also goes in line with the rumors of a triple-camera setup for the Galaxy A (2019) smartphones, with one lens having variable aperture, and the other two being a super-wide angle lens and telephoto lens.

The Samsung Galaxy A (2019) will reportedly feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. Interestingly, both these features are widely expected to debut on next year’s Samsung Galaxy S10+.
