Amazon introduced the Prime Day sale in India last year. While that was focused solely towards offers, the company this is year is focusing on integrating its global services as well, in order to offer a better shopping experience to its Indian customers. The focus is also on converting users to Prime members this year, which will help it build a better customer loyalty in the country.

As part of Prime Day sale, Economic Times suggests that the company will be focusing more on offering discounts and deals on its private label products and services. So customers can expect exciting deals on Amazon’s line of Echo speakers, Kindles and other cloud-based services. The company is also said to be working on offers related to smartphones, televisions, and home appliances. The company is also loading up its warehouses across the country in abundance, so that orders can be delivered the next day.

Amazon India is also likely to launch its Prime Wardrobe on Prime Day, which will give customers the option to try out clothes at home before purchasing them. This feature is already available in U.S., but could be coming to India soon. Inc42 reported that Amazon is also focusing on luggage and furniture categories. The company seems to have decreased retailer fees, in order to compete better with Flipkart, who is also said to be focusing on these categories.
