Apple’s MacBook Pro with Retina display gets cheaper and faster, now starts at Rs 99,900

Apple has lowered the price of the MacBook Pro with Retina display and at the same time has made it faster with Intel’s latest processors. The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display now starts at Rs 99,900 inclusive of VAT (Previous price was Rs 114,900), which comes with 128GB of flash memory. The 256GB model of the same now features a newer and faster 2.6GHz Intel processor and it starts Rs 114,900 (Previous price was Rs 134,900).

The 15-inch model also now gets faster internals. The base model now gets a faster quad-core Intel i7 processor clocked at 2.4GHz. The top of line 15-inch model now scales up to a processor with a clock speed of 2.7GHz with quad-cores and now comes equipped with 16GB of RAM instead of 8GB of RAM. Previously, 16GB of RAM was available on order only in the case of the 15-inch model. Besides this, the clock speed of both the models has essentially received a 0.1GHz speed bump.

In addition to this, Apple has also announced that the 13-inch MacBook Air with 256 GB of storage now has a new lower price point of Rs 94,900.
