Apple has just announced a slew of new features that will come to Siri with iOS 6. Not only will it come to the new iPad when iOS 6 launches later this year but also adds new features that we recently saw on S Voice on the Galaxy S III. Read on…

The biggest feature would be the ability to start any app directly from Siri. Secondly, users will also get local search globally. Till now local search was limited to the US. Siri will also understand new languages but sadly there are no Indian languages in the mix.

Siri will also be able to pull up scores from latest matches or player records. We are not sure if it is limited to American sports but that shouldn’t be the case. Siri will also be able to pull out movie reviews and show trailers. Apple has tied up with RottenTomatoes for this. Users will also be able to check out restaurants nearby via integration with Yelp and OpenTable.
