It’s time for Apple fans to do crazy things to own the latest iPhone. One such fanboy from Sydney, Australia, named Mazen Kourouche has positioned himself as the first to queue outside an Apple Store in Sydney.
No, Apple isn’t exclusively releasing the iPhone X in Sydney earlier than other global markets. But Kourouche isn’t taking any chance. He wants to be the first get his hands on the device, and is queuing outside the store 10 days ahead of the anticipated release of iPhone X. He has been camping outside the Apple Store two days ahead of the Apple Event at Steve Jobs Theater. Well, Apple fanboys make Apple what it is!
Before the September 12 event, he was expecting that the new iPhone will be available in stores for sale in around 10-15 days time. However, the fanboy was left with a sour test when he learned that Apple has announced two new smartphones – iPhone 8 series and iPhone X, out of which the latter will not be available in stores until November 3.

This drastically extends his waiting period to over 50 days, if the 20-year old Australian student continues to camp. In an interview with News.com.au, he revealed that he wanted to get his hands on iPhone X first so that he could put up videos first among other vloggers. I’ll start again closer to the date,” he told Mirror. He has been a regular face in first sale queues outside Apple Store. According to the Mirror report, he was the third to buy an iPhone 7 last year and among first hundred customers to buy an iPhone 6 in 2015. Also, Kourouche is more than just an Apple fanboy. The Australian student has over half a dozen apps listed on Apple store to his name. He was also recognized this year at WWDC for his Medyc app that lets you find doctors near by, track your appointments and medication.
